At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), we are committed to Trusted Care, Better Health for Everyone, and we are looking for a dedicated Administration Support Officer to join our Medical Workforce and Education Unit (MWEU).
About the Opportunity
As an Administration Support Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Medical Workforce and Education Unit. Working alongside a collaborative and supportive team, you will help ensure our medical workforce is efficiently supported through accurate administration, effective communication, and high-quality customer service.
This position plays a key role in supporting medical workforce services and ensuring smooth administrative processes. In this role you will:
- Support medical workforce administration, including locum engagement, recruitment, onboarding, and credentialing processes.
- Maintain accurate records and update workforce systems while ensuring compliance with NSW Health policies and procedures.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external locum agencies to coordinate documentation, communicate information, and support timely workforce processes.
- Prepare reports, meeting documentation, and provide general administrative support to the MWEU.
The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training and development to build knowledge and skills relevant to the role.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated experience working in a busy administrative environment with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate records, work across multiple computer systems, and quickly learn new applications.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
