About the role
Are you General Medicine Advanced Trainee (with speciality in Cardiology or Gastroenterology) looking to join a leading regional hospital in 2027? Join the Medical Services team at Latrobe Regional Health (LRH), where a world of opportunities awaits.
We are seeking an enthusiastic General Medicine Advanced Trainee to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term basis (86 hours per fortnight). In this role, you will provide day-to-day medical care for patients under the supervision of senior medical staff and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. The General Medicine Department at LRH is dedicated to delivering high-quality care to patients and the wider Gippsland community. Working in General Medicine offers a unique and rewarding experience with:

About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
  • Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
  • Registration or be eligible for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member
