The Registrar Medical Educator position aims to provide an opportunity for an ACRRM Registrar to engage in the education program's delivery. This allows a registrar with an interest in medical education to develop knowledge and skills in education delivery and associated processes. This role may contribute to succession planning, encouraging future participation in medical education and a deeper understanding of education principles and the ACRRM training program.

This position could contribute towards an AST (Advanced Specialised Training) in Academic Practice or a pre-agreed amount of CGT (Core Generalist Training) training time. This role suited to a senior registrar with a passion for education and teaching and a strong understanding of the Fellowship program.

Qualification/Skills:

• MB BS, B.Med. (or equivalent)
• Enrolled GP Registrar with ACRRM
• Excellent interpersonal, liaison, written and oral communication skills
• High level organisational, attention to detail, analysis and problem-solving skills in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary environment
• Intermediate or better Microsoft Office applications skills

Other Requirements:

• Unrestricted motor vehicle licence and willingness to travel for position
• Current medical indemnity insurance
• Completion of a minimum of MCQ (Multiple Choice Question), MSF (Multi Source Feedback) (Multi Source Feedback) and Mini-CEX requirements
