Enrolled Nurse
Advance Medical Practice, Westmead NSW

Advance Medical Practice is a general practice in Westmead. We are looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join our clinical team and support our GPs across treatment room and preventive health work.

About the role
You will work alongside our doctors and reception team in a single-site practice. The role covers treatment room duties, chronic disease and preventive health support, and the day to day running of clinical stock and equipment.

Day to day you will:
  • Assist doctors with procedures, dressings and wound care.
  • Administer vaccinations and injections under supervision, in line with your scope of practice.
  • Perform ECGs, spirometry, blood pressure and basic observations.
  • Support health assessments, GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements.
  • Manage the vaccine fridge and cold chain records, including temperature logs and breach reporting.
  • Maintain sterilisation, infection control and treatment room stock.
  • Run recall and reminder lists and follow up patients as directed.
  • Help maintain documentation for RACGP accreditation.

About you:
  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA, with a medication administration notation.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Current CPR certification and a National Police Check.
  • Immunisation status compliant with NSW Health requirements.
  • Confident communicator who can put patients at ease.
  • Organised, reliable and comfortable working in a small team.

Useful but not essential:
  • Previous experience in general practice.
  • Familiarity with Best Practice software.
  • Immunisation and wound care qualifications.
  • A second language spoken in the local community.
