We're excited to welcome an ENAP to Inpatient Unit 3D at Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Birtinya.

IPU 3D is a combined Cardiology and General Medicine 32 bed unit, committed to providing high quality, evidenced-based patient care. IPU 3D provides a dedicated cardiac telemetry service for in-patients across all sub-specialties within SCUH. The unit has access to 24-hour diagnostic and interventional services and to the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) for higher acuity cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities include:
Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) - State 2015 - Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 6, Band 1 and the Queensland Public Service values.
Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.

Salary rates: $41.44 - $43.98 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 4) (Permanent Part-time, hours negotiable.)
