General Practice Nurse (RN or EEN)


Are you a passionate and driven nurse looking for a rewarding career in a well-established medical practice? The Medical Centre of Gympie is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated General Practice Nurse (RN or EEN) to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care and support a collaborative, patient-centred care model.

  • Triage patients effectively to ensure excellent patient flow.

  • Work independently in the treatment room and assist doctors with wound care, procedures, excisions, biopsies, and pap smears.

  • Administer vaccinations, child immunisations, venesections, pregnancy tests, and other clinical duties.

  • Participate in Chronic Disease Management programs.

  • Ensure excellent data quality through reporting, clinical notes, recalls, and reminders using Best Practice

  • Contribute to general cleaning and infection control protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EEN).

  • Enthusiasm, professionalism, and a caring approach to patient care.

  • Strong communication skills and bedside manner.

  • Experience with Best Practice software (preferred but not essential).

  • A high work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality outcomes.
