About the role:
Join a high-performing team at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), where we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the health and well-being of children. Our Communications and Digital team is small but dynamic, offering a collaborative and innovative environment.
We are looking for a Communications Support Coordinator to streamline, manage and improve administration for the wider team.
The role is a Permanent, full-time, 80 hours per fortnight (incl ADO) position. Classification for this position will range from Grade 3 Level 1 to Grade 3 Level 5, AO31 – AO35, (FTE base salary $74,448.40 to $82,305.60 per annum, plus superannuation, plus salary packaging).
What you’ll achieve:
Deliver responsive and accurate customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and implement improvements in communications workflows and systems.
Support publishing to internal and external websites and platforms
Support the facilitation of RCH events, like the Good Friday Appeal, and Executive events.
Maintain and improve team documentation, messaging guides, and filing systems.
What experience you’ll bring:
Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service and stakeholder support.
Strong organisational skills in managing communications requests, content lifecycles, and publishing.
Event coordination experience, including working with photographers and external partners.
Administrative expertise in documentation, scheduling, and performance reporting.
Confidence in managing confidential information and ensuring policy compliance.
Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in administration.
6 months to 2 years’ experience in administration or communications within large organisations.
Strong organisational, planning, and administrative skills.
Skilled in content creation, publishing, and managing communications requests.
Familiar with digital platforms (social media, websites, email systems).
Experience in healthcare/government settings and event coordination is a plus.
