We are a dedicated Skin Cancer Clinic committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care to our local and regional community. Our team includes experienced skin cancer doctors, nurses, and administrative staff who work collaboratively to provide timely, compassionate services.

We are seeking a Junior Medical Receptionist who is enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn within a supportive healthcare environment.

About the Role

As a Junior Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in healthcare administration who is caring, team‑oriented, and maintains a professional approach when supporting patients and responding to enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reception & patient check‑in — greeting patients, confirming details, managing waiting room flow
  • Appointment scheduling — booking consultations, procedures, and follow‑ups
  • Phone & email enquiries — providing clear, professional communication
  • Billing & payments — processing Medicare, private billing, and EFTPOS transactions
  • Clinical admin support — assisting doctors and nurses with general administrative tasks including faxing, email management, scanning, and document handling
  • Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies

What we are looking For

  • Friendly, professional communication style
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical environment
