Full job description

This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated person who not only has excellent administrative skills bit who also has outstanding customer service skills. We are seeking a team player to assist in the daily operations of our front desk. You must have the ability to multitask, be a hands on individual and be self-motivated.

Essential Criteria:

Minimum of 3 year experience working in a general practice

Duties include:

  • All elements of customer service including telephone and face to face
  • Processing payments and invoicing
  • Basic administrative duties including scanning, filing, faxing, mailing etc
  • Organising and management of appointments and patient enquiries
  • Support general practice maintenance
  • Excellent time management with fast pace and multi-tasking skills
  • Caring and compassionate personality
  • Proficient with medical specific software Best Practice
  • Knowledge of Medicare Benefits Schedule
  • Experience with MyMedicare, PIPS and PRODA preferred
  • Positive, with a strong work ethic, reliable, willing to learn new knowledge
  • This role is ideal for someone with current GP practice working experience who is eager to contribute to the smooth running of our front desk operations. You must be able to multitask, stay self-motivated, and work effectively as part of a team.
