Full job description

Administration Perth Casual Icon Cancer Centre Australia

Be the welcoming face of world-class cancer care.
Every patient’s journey begins with a warm welcome and seamless support - and that starts with you. Whether you're an experienced medical secretary, a skilled administrator, or a warm and professional receptionist - this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a cutting-edge cancer diagnostic and treatment environment.

Icon Cancer Hollywood is an advanced Molecular Imaging and Theranostics Centre offering diagnostic PET, CT, and Nuclear Medicine imaging services, as well as Theranostic radionuclide cancer treatments. This Centre will be WA’s most advanced facility of its kind and you will have the opportunity to be the first contact for patients and referring physicians.
If you have solid reception and administration skills, even without medical experience, we’ll provide all the training you need to feel confident and succeed.

Your Role in Cancer Care includes:
  • Greeting patients and visitors with empathy and professionalism
  • Coordinating specialist appointments, imaging, and treatment schedules
  • Managing reception duties, patient bookings, and medical records
  • Handling correspondence, billing, and documentation
  • Liaising with hospitals, referrers, and allied health providers
  • Supporting consultants with scheduling and administrative tasks
What You Bring
We’re looking for people who are naturally organised, great with others, and ready to make a difference. You might have worked in a medical centre, or perhaps in a customer-facing admin role - either way, if you’ve got strong reception and administration skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Our ideal candidate will be:
  • Experienced in medical administration, secretarial support, or reception (medical preferred but not essential)
  • A confident communicator with a friendly and proactive approach
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised
  • Comfortable with medical terminology and systems, or keen to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Teams)
Team Culture and Environment
You’ll be joining a close-knit team that values collaboration, kindness, and continuous learning. Our work isn’t easy, but it’s extremely important - and we support each other every step of the way.
