Casual Administration / Medical Receptionist

Tranquil Minds Psychology & Psychiatry Solutions (TMPPS)

Tranquil Minds is a well-established multidisciplinary mental health practice in Penrith & Castle Hill, proudly supporting the local community for nearly 30 years. We are seeking a Casual Administration / Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team.

This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in medical or allied health reception who is organised, confident, and comfortable working in a busy clinical environment.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for clients and referrers, providing professional and compassionate front-of-house support while assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming clients and managing reception enquiries
  • Answering phones and responding to emails professionally
  • Appointment bookings, confirmations, and client check-ins
  • Managing practitioner's requests, patient referrals and basic billing enquiries
  • Using and maintaining modern, cloud-based practice systems

About You

  • Previous experience in medical or allied health reception (essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence using cloud-based systems and Microsoft Office. Prior user experience of Gentu practice management solution is desirable.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Mental health experience is advantageous but not required

Pre-Employment Requirements
