Full job description

Administration Officer – NDIS (Work from Home)

Centre of Hope is looking for an organised and motivated Administration Officer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with NDIS administration experience who enjoys organising documents, working independently, and supporting a busy team.

This role will primarily support our Support Coordination and Psychosocial Recovery Coach teams by ensuring client files and documentation are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.

Location:

  • Work from home
  • Applicants must be based in the Sydney metropolitan area

Employment:

  • Casual position with the opportunity to transition to a permanent full-time role after a successful probation period
  • 15–25 hours per week, depending on operational requirements
  • Hours are to be worked during standard business hours (Monday to Friday)

Pay:

  • $42.00 per hour + Superannuation

What you'll be doing:

  • Set up new client files within the company systems.
  • Organise and maintain electronic client records in Microsoft SharePoint and the company Share Drive.
  • Review client files to ensure all required documentation has been received and filed correctly.
  • Follow up outstanding documents with internal staff and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure files are organised and maintained to NDIS Practice Standards and audit requirements.
  • Keep client records accurate, complete and up to date.
  • Support the Support Coordination and Recovery Coach teams with administrative tasks.
  • Identify issues or missing information and proactively work to resolve them.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

About you:

  • Previous administration experience within the NDIS sector is essential.
  • Good understanding of NDIS documentation and client file requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Confident using technology and able to learn new systems quickly.
  • Fast and accurate computer skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable, proactive and takes ownership of tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and able to follow up until issues are resolved.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
