Medical Receptionist, Hospital jobs in Penrith NSW

We are looking for a reliable Medical Receptionist to join our team in Penrith. The ideal candidate must be available to work at short notice and willing to cover staff leave and holidays. This is a casual position with varying hours, including the flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors warmly
• Answer phone calls and handle general enquiries
• Process billings and payments using medical software
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

• Strong professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality
• High level of computer literacy and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently, show initiative, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people
• Previous experience in a medical centre is preferred
• Experience with Best Practice software is required but not essential– full training will be provided to the right candidate

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour

Experience:

• Medical admin: 1 year (Preferred)
