A great opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join a modern friendly practice offering 8 hours per week.

Interested candidates must have good communication skills and ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic pro-active attitude with a high standard of customer service and excellent attention to detail.

Computer literacy is essential and knowledge of Medical Director and Helix will be highly regarded.

Must be flexible and available to cover other staff members on leave.

This rewarding role supports the successful operation of our medical practice through:

• Answering telephone and Patient queries
• Creating and Maintaining Patient records
• Medicare & Private Billing/Receipting and Payment collection
• Scanning and electronic management of patient records
• Reception and administration duties
• Provide ongoing support to GPs and Practice Manager as required

Skills & Experience Required:

• Positive attitude, highly motivated and energetic
• Exceptional communication skills and organisational skills
• Ability to work autonomously and cohesively as part of a team
• Previous experience working in the health care / medical industry is desirable
