Medical Receptionist jobs in Greater Adelaide SA

We are looking for a casual experienced preferred medical receptionist who is able to work 10 hours per week and also have flexibility to covers sick and annual leave.

Hours: Monday and Wednesday 9am - 2pm

No weekend work

Christmas closure

You will need to be able to take initiative and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients in a friendly manner upon arrival and check them in for appointments
• Scheduling patient appointments and procedures accurately
• Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up to date
• Respond to patient inquiries over the phone and in person
• Billing and receipting all accounts through Tyro/Medicare
• Assisting and set up of minor surgical procedures (further training will be provided)

Requirements:

• Experience with Pracsoft and Medical Director (or similar medical software is preferred)
• Experience in a medical reception field will be highly regarded
• Multitasking and ability to prioritise a heavy workload
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and also be an effective team member
• Be empathetic, compassionate and caring towards vulnerable people
• Must be friendly, approachable and reliable

This is a long term position and we are looking for someone with a great work ethic and flexibility.

On-site car parking and work shirts will be provided.
