Full job description

Our clinic in Drummoyne is currently seeking a friendly and organised Medical Receptionist to join the team. This is a full time, permanent opportunity , working Monday to Friday , with shifts between 7:30am - 9:00pm . As well as the opportunity to work Saturday’s and Sunday’s.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing an important role in creating a positive and professional patient experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
  • Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
  • Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
  • Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
    • Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
