We are seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team, our medical Clinic is located at Bond University, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

• Providing a warm and welcoming first point of contact for patients, both in-person and over the phone
• Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling medical billing and administration tasks
• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the medical practice, including customer service
• Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive patient information
• Supporting the medical team by coordinating patient flow and ensuring a smooth and efficient clinic experience

About the person

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
• Proficient in using medical practice management software Best Practice, electronic medical records, and other relevant technology
• A compassionate and empathetic approach when interacting with patients
• A team player attitude and the willingness to contribute to the overall success of the medical practice

Salary details

The hourly rate for this casual role is $48.46 (includes 25% casual Loading) plus 12% superannuation.
