About Your Role

As an Information Access Officer, you'll be responsible for managing requests for health information from patients, legal representatives, government agencies and other authorised stakeholders.

Assess and process requests for health information and records.
Apply relevant legislation, policies and privacy requirements.
Coordinate the release of clinical and employee information.
Process subpoenas, insurance, police and legal information requests.
Manage Right to Information (RTI) applications and administrative access requests.
Liaise with internal teams, legal representatives and external agencies.
Maintain accurate records, databases and documentation.
Ensure requests are completed within legislative timeframes.

About You

You're a highly organised professional with exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to confidentiality.

You'll bring:
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Ability to interpret legislation, policies and procedures.
Experience managing sensitive and confidential information.
Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to prioritise competing deadlines independently.
Sound Microsoft Office and data management skills.
Knowledge of health information legislation or medical terminology (highly regarded).
