Business Traineeship – Medical Receptionist

Location: Buderim | Full-Time Traineeship

Are you a friendly, organised, and reliable individual who enjoys helping others? Looking to kickstart your career in healthcare administration? This is your chance to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification!

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Reception Trainee. In this role, you'll be the welcoming face of our busy medical centre and the first point of contact for our patients. You’ll provide outstanding customer service while learning the ins and outs of a dynamic healthcare environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Warmly greeting patients and visitors
  • Answering phone calls and managing appointment bookings
  • Handling Medicare and private billing transactions
  • Maintaining and updating patient records while ensuring confidentiality
  • Providing admin support to doctors and clinical staff
  • Managing correspondence and general reception duties
  • Performing scanning, filing, and data entry tasks

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
