POSITION PURPOSE
The purpose of the ANZ Medical Information Lead is to provide leadership, management of the affiliate Med Info and drive team collaboration with business partners in the team. The Med Info Lead executes in accordance with the scientific objectives, timeline, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a current knowledge base of all Lilly products and disease states and develop expertise in specific therapeutic areas.
• Provide technical and medical information to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensures SOPs are updated, well understood across the affiliate as well as leading and providing clarification on local implementation.
• Supports the development of global SOPs to ensure alignment with local laws and regulations.
• Sets up and maintains the Med Info system at affiliate level to meet regulatory expectation and business need.
• Overall management and coordination of the Medical Information Service team.
• Ensure individual training plans contain appropriate curricula.
• Provide career development opportunities for medical information specialists.

Minimum qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, nursing, or other related life sciences
• Medical information/communication experience, or experience as a medical information specialist is preferred.
• Be fluent in English
• Be able to use MS office.
• Understanding requirements of Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and Medicines New Zealand Code of Practice, as well as all promotional material guidance

Other information/additional preferences

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong knowledge of Med Info systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage large global organizations
• Project management experience.
