Where you'll be working
Hornsby GP Training Unit

What you'll be doing
The GP Unit provides a comprehensive general practice service to the patients from the local community including staff members and their families from Hornsby Hospital. In addition, the GP Unit hosts the Bungee Bidgel Aboriginal Health Clinic. The GP Unit is staffed by GP’s, a Practice Manager, Practice Nurse and Reception Staff, across two sites at Hornsby Hospital and Brooklyn. The practice is a Department of Hornsby Hospital and provides teaching to medical students, resident doctors and GP Registrar’s. The goal of the GP Unit is to provide a first class medical service to patients, whilst maintaining a focus on teaching. The Receptionist provides a comprehensive range of administration support and customer service to the staff and patients of the GP Unit, in the pursuit of the unit and hospital outcomes.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
  • Ability to travel between the two sites, as occasional shifts at Brooklyn will be required.
