Medical Receptionist | Key Health - Multiple opportunities across Sydney

Key Health Medical Practices is expanding, and we’re looking for warm, reliable and professional Medical Receptionists to join our growing team across multiple locations.

About the role

As a Medical Receptionist at Key Health, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and an important part of the care journey. You will help ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice while delivering a welcoming and professional experience for every patient.

There are opportunities to work across multiple sites for training, development and professional growth.

Our casual team have skills and experience across multiple sites with different team leads and doctors, servicing different communities' and offering different types of patient services.

Our permanent Medical Receptionists are given opportunities to work towards Senior Medical Receptionist or Management roles.

  • Key Health CBD South – Full time or part time
  • Key Health Castle Hill – Full time, part time or casual
  • Key Health St Leonards – Full time or part time

Key responsibilities

  • Providing friendly and professional customer service to patients, doctors and the wider clinical team
  • Answering phone calls, managing enquiries and booking appointments
  • Patient check in, processing payments and handling front desk operations
  • General administration including filing, emailing, faxing and correspondence
  • Supporting doctors, nurses and practice staff with daily administrative needs
  • Working closely with the reception team and Practice Manager to complete daily tasks accurately and on time
  • Following practice procedures for patient results, recalls and clinical administration
  • Assisting with patient triage and escalation of urgent matters where required
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception and clinic environment
  • Ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with the Privacy Act 1988
  • Supporting additional tasks as directed by management or practice principals

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a medical reception or administrative role (preferred)
  • Strong customer service skills and a patient focused approach
  • Confident using Microsoft Windows and general office systems
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Calm, professional communication style, especially in busy or high pressure moments
