***IMMEDIATE START***

We are currently seeking a friendly, professional, and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our busy medical practice. If you have a passion for patient care and strong communication skills, we’d love to hear from you!

Location: Merrylands, NSW
Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Must be available for both morning and afternoon shifts)
Availability: 2–3 days per week (flexible days between Monday-Saturday)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming patients and managing appointments
  • Manage bookings, phone and email enquiries, and front desk operations
  • Processing billing and Medicare claims
  • Maintaining patient records in line with privacy and confidentiality standards
  • Providing general administrative support to the Doctor
  • General housekeeping

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal) (Essential)
  • Arabic speaking (preferred)
  • Valid drivers licence
  • Owns their own vehicle

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional phone manner and presentation
  • Computer literacy, and experience with practice management software (Pracsoft, Medical Director, Proda) preferred but not essential
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong problem solving and time management skills

· High level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting (Desirable)
