Your impact, with us

As our highly valued Medical Secretary, you’ll use your skills and expertise to provide quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.

This role is a mobile position where you will travel to one of our locations dependent on the Doctor's clinic with non-clinic day locations to be discussed.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical secretary role including coordinating a busy specialist’s schedule, bookings and clinics and providing a PA service to the specialists
  • Strong medical terminology and cardiology terminology (desirable)
  • Competent in the use of medical management software (we use HealthTrack)
  • Highly organised, able to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
  • High level written and verbal communication skills
  • Liaising effectively with all stakeholders including hospital and health care providers
  • Good attention to detail and well-developed computer literacy
  • Issuing patient invoices and receipts, patient quotes, attending to account enquiries, billing Medicare, DVA and health funds
  • Must hold a current Australian driver’s license.
