At GenesisCare Murdoch, we are looking for a caring and confident Patient Services Officer (Medical Receptionist) to join our close-knit team.


In this role, you will be at the heart of the patient journey, creating a warm and positive experience from the very first interaction and helping patients feel informed, comfortable and cared for every step of the way.


You will play a key role in shaping each patient’s experience while supporting a collaborative and dedicated clinical team in a fast-paced environment.


We are offering a 12-month part-time opportunity, working 4 days per week, with potential to extend!


More specifically, you will:

  • Deliver a welcoming and supportive experience for patients at every interaction
  • Act as the first point of contact, providing professional and compassionate service in person and over the phone
  • Coordinate and manage patient bookings to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience
  • Assist patients with billing and receipting
  • Provide accurate administrative support including data entry and documentation
  • Help create a calm, organised and efficient clinic environment
  • Work closely with the clinical team to ensure patients move seamlessly through their care journey
  • Maintain patient records with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality
