Your impact, with us
As our highly valued Medical Secretary, you’ll use your skills and expertise to provide quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.

Your clinic days will be at Hollywood Consulting Centre but your administrative working days may be at any of our other locations. Some travel between our Advara HeartCare sites may be required, and you may also be asked to provide short-term administrative relief at other practices, contributing to our ongoing commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a medical secretary role including coordinating a specialist’s schedule, bookings and clinics and providing a PA service to the specialists
  • Strong medical terminology and cardiology terminology (desirable)
  • Competent in the use of medical management software (we use Healthtrack)
  • Highly organised, able to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
  • High level written and verbal communication skills
  • Liaising effectively with all stakeholders including hospital and health care providers
  • Good attention to detail and well-developed computer literacy
  • Issuing patient invoices and receipts, patient quotes, attending to account enquiries, billing Medicare, DVA and health funds
  • Must hold a current Australian driver’s license.
