About The Role

  • In this program you will be allocated to a clinical ward where you will report directly to the Nurse Unit Manager and integrate into the nursing and multidisciplinary team.

  • The Assistant in Nursing provides support to the Nursing staff in the delivery of basic care in busy medical, surgical departments. This experience could assist you in securing a New Graduate Position in the future.

About You

  • Enrolled in and undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing at 2nd year level.

  • Enrolled in and undertaking a Diploma of Nursing and in at least 2nd stage.

  • Certificate 3 in Health Service Assistance.

  • Complete fundamental clinical skills, to assist the RN/EN workforce.

  • Flexible and available to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.

  • Previous experience working in an acute healthcare area (desired)
