Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) looking to make a difference in a friendly, collaborative environment? We are seeking motivated RNs to join our busy General Medical and Surgical team on the McGregor Ward. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a fast-paced work environment. Requires a bright, bubbly personality and positive culture. McGregor Ward is a 32-bed medical/surgical ward that sees a range of surgical specialities: Urology, ENT, Bariatrics, Colorectal & General Surgical cases.

An opportunity to join a vibrant nursing team and experience caring for patients with varied presentations, in both medical and surgical cohorts.

As a member of our clinical team you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients.

About You
You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

  • Current registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurses)
  • Medication endorsed (IV qualified)
  • Recent acute care or surgical ward experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster
  • Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.
