SEHAJ DEEWHY Pty Ltd T/A SQ BAR & GRILL
Location: Penrith, NSW

SEHAJ DEEWHY Pty Ltd, trading as SQ BAR & GRILL, is a newly established restaurant located in Penrith, NSW, offering a unique blend of Mediterranean and Modern Australian cuisine. As part of our expansion and commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences, we are seeking 2 qualified and experienced Cooks to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.

These roles are critical to supporting our kitchen operations, maintaining food quality standards, and contributing to menu development and customer satisfaction.

Position: Cook

Salary: $80,000 per annum plus superannuation

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of Mediterranean and Modern Australian dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
  • Assisting in daily kitchen operations including food preparation, portioning, and plating
  • Ensuring consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with food safety standards
  • Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and inventory control
  • Following instructions from the Head Chef and contributing to smooth kitchen workflow
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
  • At least 2 years of experience as an independent Cook
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
