Full job description

Experienced Support worker wanted

Coverage Care is growing, and we are currently seeking an experienced mental health Support Worker with a minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting participants with high complex needs.

Location: Smithfield

Requirements:

  • Competent with hoisting and manual handling
  • Experience with CPAP machines
  • Experience supporting participants with diabetes
  • Provide meal preparation and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring nutritional requirements are met
  • Ability to provide bed baths and full personal care
  • Monitor patient vital signs and observe patient conditions to report changes promptly
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting
  • Must be reliable and hold all required NDIS-compliant documentation and checks
  • ABN
  • CAR AND DRIVERS LICENCE

Shift Details:

  • Morning shift: 8:00am – 11:00am
  • 8am-2pm
  • Afternoon shifts :4pm-8pm
  • 6pm-8pm
  • weekends: 8am-11am
  • 8am-2pm
  • weekend afternoons: 3pm-6pm
  • 4pm-6pm
  • Additional hours available for the right worker
