Your new role:
As an Administration Officer - Switchboard Services, you will play an important role in ensuring effective communication across Logan Hospital, providing professional support to staff, patients and the wider community. Working within a 24/7 rostered environment, you will contribute to the smooth operation of essential hospital communication services by:

Responding to telephone enquiries in a courteous, professional and timely manner.
Managing high-volume call traffic while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Maintaining accurate records and information within databases, SharePoint and communication systems.
Coordinating pager allocation, tracking and fault reporting processes for hospital staff.
Supporting emergency response procedures by receiving and distributing emergency notifications in line with established protocols.
Building effective working relationships across the hospital to ensure information remains current and accessible.
Exercising sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Contributing positively to a collaborative team environment while also working independently when required.

About you:
You are a reliable and customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can remain calm under pressure. You will bring:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage respectfully with a diverse range of people.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills and confidence using multiple systems simultaneously.
Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
The ability to multitask and manage competing demands in a high-volume service environment.
A commitment to teamwork, inclusion and delivering quality customer service.
Adaptability and willingness to embrace change and continuous improvement.
Professionalism, integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Availability to work rotating shifts across a 24-hour, 7-day roster.
Previous switchboard experience (desirable but not essential).
