Full job description

We’re looking for a Bakery Team Member to join our overnight production team at Hector’s Bakery, 33 Stewart Street, Richmond , located right near Richmond Train Station.

Our bakery produces the bread and baked goods served across all Hector’s Delis in Melbourne, including our famous donuts, Turkish bread, milk buns and rye bread.

This is a casual overnight role , with shifts typically running between 7pm – 5am , so availability during these hours is essential.

ABOUT YOU

You’ll work alongside our bakery team to produce high-quality products for distribution to our Melbourne-based delis each day. We’re searching for food lovers who thrive on quality and presentation.

Previous experience working in a bakery environment and strong time management skills are essential. A qualification in baking and/or patisserie is highly regarded (or currently studying).

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

  • Produce donuts, bread and bakery products including Turkish bread, milk buns and rye

  • Follow production schedules to ensure fresh daily deliveries to our delis

  • Maintain consistency and high product quality at all times

  • Keep the kitchen clean and organised while adhering to HACCP and food safety procedures

  • Support the bakery team with daily production and new product preparation
