Mining Mineral Engineer jobs

This is a perfect opportunity for Graduate Mining Engineers to join a reputable, high-profile contracting company as part of our 2026 Graduate Program.

As part of the NRW Civil & Mining team, you’ll work in a dynamic and diverse environment with opportunities to be involved in a range of mining projects and pit design operations. These positions will be site-based on an 8:6 roster or 2:2 roster, and a Head Office placement to help you understand project systems and business operations.

Throughout the Graduate Program, you will gain exposure to multiple facets of the business from planning and production to project delivery building upon your skills and technical knowledge. You’ll also have the chance to attend one of our tailored leadership training programs, designed for those interested in advancing into future leadership roles.

As a Graduate Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Assisting the site Engineering team with project requirements
• Recording and monitoring production data, site cost controls, and daily reporting
• Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with QA requirements
• Supporting subcontractor management and site coordination
• Assisting with drill and blast operations

To be considered for this position, you will require:

• A relevant qualification Bachelor of Mining Engineering or similar discipline
• Relevant site-based vacation placements within Civil or Mining industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• The right to permanently work in Australia
