About the role

Europcar Australia has an excellent opportunity for a passionate Qualified Mechanic to provide services on site at our various locations in the Gold Coast & Brisbane region.

Your ability to remain calm under pressure and work unsupervised will be applied in a clean well-kept workshop on new / recent model vehicles. Your excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and team spirit will serve you well in this position.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to :

  • Service vehicles in accordance with company and manufacturers specifications

  • Good knowledge of the tyre industry – tyre rotation and repairs

  • Ferry vehicles as and when required

  • Ensure an acceptable level of spare parts stock is maintained

  • Perform tasks and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the company’s values of integrity, innovation and excellence.

To be successful in this role, you will need a current full manual drivers license, basic understanding of computer systems and an MTA Motor Mechanic Accreditation (or similar motor mechanic certification) is desirable.

Diesel Mechanic experience would be advantageous.
