Full job description

Universal Store
From our humble beginnings as a suburban unisex clothing store in 1999, we’ve grown to more than 100 stores nationally and now deliver the latest in apparel to customers around the world through our thriving online store. Our team carefully curates a mix of local and international labels, working collaboratively to develop exclusive styles and collections that give our customers head to toe outfitting options for every occasion.
Today, we’re proud to be recognised as one of Australia’s leading youth fashion retailers. We’ve built and grown brands such as Neovision, Common Need, Luck & Trouble, and Worship, and we continue to partner with global favourites including Lee, Wrangler, AS Colour, Calvin Klein, Stussy and Abrand. As our business has expanded, we’ve welcomed the Perfect Stranger and Thrills Co brands into our portfolio, allowing us to offer an even broader range of fits, styles and pieces that reflect the diversity of our customer base.
No matter the style, our mission remains the same: elevate every outfit and deliver customer service that goes above and beyond.

The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Stylist who's looking to drive their career forward with one of Australia’s leading youth fashion retailers. Reporting to the Creative Director and working within our Creative and Marketing team, you’ll play a key role in bringing our brand to life across eCommerce, campaigns and social channels.
This role is perfect for someone who has built strong foundations in fashion retail, studio or eCommerce styling and is ready to step into a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you can further develop your creative and commercial styling skills.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Styling for photoshoots across eCommerce, campaigns and social content
  • Collaborating with Creative, Marketing and Buying teams to bring concepts and product stories to life
  • Preparing garments, accessories and shoot looks that are trend-driven and commercially relevant
  • Working closely with photographers, models and creatives on set to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Supporting shoot execution through organisation, wardrobe management and styling coordination
  • Contributing to the development of styling direction, trend insights and creative concepts
  • Maintaining studio standards including garment prep, stock organisation and shoot readiness
  • Keeping a finger on the pulse of fashion trends, customer behaviour and emerging styles
What we’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a strong eye for fashion, a passion for styling and the drive to continue to grow their career in a creative studio environment.

You’ll bring:
  • Proven styling experience within a fashion retail, eCommerce or studio environment
  • A background or qualifications in fashion styling, fashion design, fashion marketing or similar
  • A strong understanding of current trends, outfit building and commercial styling
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a collaborative creative team
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
  • The ability to adapt on set and make styling decisions in real time
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a genuine passion for fashion and youth culture
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across creative teams
What We Offer
  • A vibrant, collaborative workplace culture with a supportive and growth driven leadership team
  • Exclusive staff discounts across our brands, plus access to partner deals and offers through Flare
  • Free on-site parking and generous facilities at our modern, purpose-built Support Office located in Eagle Farm
