$138,391 to $145,041 per annum, pro-rata

About the role

The IT Project Coordinator is a technical role responsible for coordinating the delivery of IT Projects at Congress. The IT Project Coordinator is expected to collaborate and work closely with the CIO, system administrators, IT contractors and stakeholders to keep IT Projects on track, on budget, resourced and delivered on time. The IT Project Coordinator handles the administrative, organizational and communication aspects of projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met.


Team Description

The Congress ICT team is responsible for design, implementation and management of the Congress infrastructure in a way that is secure, complies with industry and vendor best practice, the Essential 8 level 2 and CIS Controls V.8 Level 2 compliant resulting in a secure seamless and efficient experience for all stakeholders of ICT information systems.


What are we looking for?

Someone to fit our team with the following requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or industry training, or equivalent demonstrated experience in relevant computing fields.
  • Extensive experience in a senior system administrator role.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining secure networks using Cisco, Starlink and Fortinet equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecture, deployment, and support of cloud technologies including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Office 365.
  • Demonstrated experience working with common hypervisors and virtualisation technologies, including highly available storage and migrating servers and applications between hypervisors and to and from cloud.
  • Strong analytical problem solving, change management and incident response skills.
  • Sound written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid NT Drivers Licence or the ability to obtain.
  • Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations.
