Full job description

We’re looking for an energetic and reliable Barista to join our fast-paced local café team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, has a positive attitude, and takes pride in delivering great customer service.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Preparing high-quality coffees and takeaway drinks efficiently
  • Managing takeaway orders during busy periods
  • Assisting front of house staff with food orders when needed
  • Supporting general front of house prep and cleanliness during quieter periods

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be professional and well-presented
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Work well under pressure and stay motivated in a fast-paced setting
  • Be organised, clean, and tidy in their work habits
  • Be a morning person and reliable for early starts
  • Have a basic understanding in operating POS systems

Cafe experience is preferred, but a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are highly valued.

Pay: $31.19 per hour
