Permanent Part-Time Position – Musical Instrument Sales Liverpool, NSW

Anthonys Music has been a trusted name in the music community for over 40 years. With a vibrant retail store and music school in Liverpool and we’re on the lookout for a passionate, knowledgeable sales assistant to join our growing team.

IMPORTANT: Only apply if you play an instrument and have sales experience.

* About the Role:

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on musical knowledge and a background in retail sales. You’ll be working across a range of departments from guitars and drums to keyboards, pro audio and tech helping customers find the right gear, offering advice, and making sure their experience is outstanding from start to finish.

* Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service in-store, over the phone, and via email
• Assist with product sales, orders, and general admin
• Share your knowledge across guitars, drums, pianos, PA and more
• Build strong relationships with customers and students
• Assist in managing our in-house music school operations
• Cash handling, opening/closing, stock control & inventory
• Support basic instrument repairs (restringing, setups, etc.)

* About You:

• Confident, friendly, and approachable with a positive attitude
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Highly organised and self-motivated
• Capable of working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Comfortable working as part of a close-knit team
• Skilled in Microsoft Office / POS systems / data entry
• Knowledge of general repairs a bonus (guitar, bass, drums, etc.)
• Available to work afternoons (essential)
