Our client, TRY SOLUTIONS PTY LTD, is seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Telecommunications Field Engineer to join our growing telecommunications services business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work in a dynamic environment delivering telecommunications infrastructure, installation, maintenance and field engineering services.

Job Title:
Telecommunications Field Engineer

Job Responsibility:
Responsible for installing, maintaining, testing and troubleshooting telecommunications systems and network infrastructure while supporting field operations and technical projects.

Duties:
Install, configure, maintain and repair telecommunications systems, fibre optic infrastructure, NBN and structured cabling networks

· Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, testing and maintenance of communication networks and telecommunications equipment

· Install and terminate CAT5e, CAT6 and fibre optic cabling systems for residential and commercial customers

· Conduct FTTP installations including NTD setup, PCD relocation, lead-in assessments and internal cabling works

· Monitor network performance and resolve network faults, connectivity issues and technical defects

· Conduct site inspections and assess installation requirements, conduit access and cable pathways

· Read and interpret telecommunications plans, technical drawings and specifications

· Configure and integrate telecommunications hardware including routers, switches, modems and communication devices

· Prepare service reports, technical documentation and installation records

· Liaise with customers, contractors, technicians and service providers regarding project requirements and service delivery

· Support telecommunications infrastructure upgrades, commissioning and network optimisation projects

· Ensure compliance with Australian telecommunications standards, WHS regulations and company procedures

Qualification:

  • AQF Diploma or Higher in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time work experience in a similar role

Salary:

  • $80,000 - $100,000 + Superannuation

Employment Condition:

  • Full Time / 38 hours per week

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
