Waiter / Waitress – Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant

Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant – Newmarket, Brisbane

We’re looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Waiters / Waitresses to join our team at Pepe’s Mexican in Newmarket!

We’re a busy, fun restaurant and we’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy hospitality, working with a team and making sure our customers have a great experience.

About the role

As a Waiter / Waitress, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Taking orders and providing friendly, attentive table service
  • Delivering food and drinks to tables
  • Clearing and resetting tables
  • Answering customer questions and assisting with requests
  • Maintaining a clean and organised floor
  • Working closely with the kitchen, bar and floor team
  • Following our service standards and helping create a great atmosphere for our guests
  • Assisting the team with general restaurant duties during busy periods

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous hospitality experience (preferred, but not essential)
  • Is friendly, approachable and confident with customers
  • Has a positive attitude and works well as part of a team
  • Is reliable and punctual
  • Can stay calm and organised during busy services
  • Is willing to learn and take direction
  • Takes pride in providing great customer service

Availability

Weekend availability is a must. We’re particularly interested in people who can commit to regular weekend shifts, with additional hours available throughout the week depending on availability.

Pay: $26.44 – $47.65 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15.0 per week
