About the Role

Planco Construction is seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. The successful candidate will support the planning, design, coordination, and delivery of civil construction projects, ensuring that works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with relevant Australian standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, design, and delivery of civil construction projects.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Undertake site inspections, measurements, and assessments as required.
• Assist with project scheduling, cost monitoring, quantity calculations, and progress reporting.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with relevant Australian standards, legislation, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Provide technical support to the project and construction teams.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
• At least two years of relevant experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and regulations is highly desirable.
• Experience with engineering and project management software will be advantageous.
