Location: South Melbourne, VIC

About Us

We are a busy, buzzing, award-winning gastropub in the heart of South Melbourne. Known for our quality food, warm hospitality, and fast-paced service, we're looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our friendly kitchen team.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Hand, you'll play an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. You'll work alongside our chefs in a busy service environment, helping maintain cleanliness, organisation, and food preparation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and hygienic
  • Assist with basic food preparation as required
  • Receive and store deliveries
  • Dispose of waste and maintain cleaning schedules
  • Follow food safety and workplace health & safety procedures
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

What We're Looking For

  • Previous kitchen hand experience is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • Good attention to detail and work ethic
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
