Full job description

Disability Support Workers — Real People. Real Heart. Real Impact.

Casual positions | Multiple locations | SCHADS + penalties

We’re looking for people who show up, care deeply, and do the right thing — even when no one is watching.

Concept Care is growing — and we’re building a team of Support Workers who are dependable, genuine, and committed to making a real difference for people living with disability.

Yes — we work with complex needs.
But what matters most to us is your attitude:

  • you’re reliable and take responsibility
  • you use common sense
  • you’re calm under pressure
  • you treat people with dignity and respect
  • you’re willing to learn, ask questions and improve

If that sounds like you, we want to meet you.

About the role

You’ll support people in their homes and communities — helping them live safely, independently and confidently.

Your work may include:

  • everyday living support, personal care and medication prompts
  • assisting with clinical care such as PEG feeding, bowel care, stoma care and catheter support
  • supporting transport to appointments, shops and social activities
  • using positive behaviour support strategies when challenges arise
  • encouraging independence, skills building and community participation

No two days are the same — and your presence genuinely matters.

Who will thrive in this role?

We’re interested in people who are dependable, compassionate and professional.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • have strong communication and de-escalation skills
  • stay steady and thoughtful when things get tricky
  • understand boundaries, privacy and professionalism
  • follow processes and documentation accurately
  • show respect to clients, families and colleagues
  • are open to feedback, training and growth

Experience with complex behaviours, mental health, ABI, Autism or high-support needs is highly valued — but the right mindset is just as important.

Certificate IV in Disability/Aged Care/Community Services is preferred, but not essential if you bring the right attitude and willingness to learn.

A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are required.

Training, safety and compliance

You’ll receive:

  • comprehensive orientation and ongoing training
  • access to behaviour support and restrictive practice learning
  • 24/7 support from our coordination team when you need help

All roles require mandatory checks (WWCC, Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid and CPR) and solid references to ensure client safety.

Why work with Concept Care?

Because you’ll be part of a team that values effort, reliability and growth.

You can expect:

  • flexible shifts to suit your availability
  • ongoing training and career progression opportunities
  • recognition programs and rewards
  • wellbeing support through our Employee Assistance Program
  • a team that listens — and actually acts on feedback

And yes — we celebrate great people and great work.

Not sure you tick every box?

If you’re committed, reliable, have a strong work ethic and genuinely care — apply anyway.
We can develop skills. We can’t teach heart.

Ready to join a specialist, supportive team?

Apply now — and tell us why you’re someone people can depend on.

We’re excited to meet you.

Pay: $32.88 – $47.16 per hour
