Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 4
Remuneration: $39.43 - $40.33 per hour + Annual leave loading + Superannuation

About the Role
Canterbury Hospital is committed to providing high quality healthcare services to our local community, focused on patient and family-centred care.

The Central Bookings Officer is required to carry out a variety of administrative duties in accordance with the waiting list/elective surgery management process. The position requires a high level of negotiation skills to liaise with clinical, non-clinical support staff & the general public to ensure patients are admitted within their clinical recommended timeframes.

Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated an understanding and experience in providing a high standard of customer service.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal & written communication skills, including telephone communication skills of a high standard together with attention to detail.
