About the Role

Are you a people person who loves the hustle and bustle of a busy café? We are looking for an energetic, confident, and friendly Café All-Rounder to join our team at Epping Plaza!

This role is all about supporting our team during peak weekend rush periods. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love making customers smile, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Smashing Out Great Coffee: Confidently stepping up to the coffee machine to pour high-quality coffees during busy rushes.
  • Top-Tier Customer Service: Welcoming customers with a warm attitude, taking orders, and managing the till.
  • Food & Menu Guidance: Chatting with customers to help them choose delicious food and drinks from our menu.
  • Keeping it Sparkling: Assisting with clearing tables and keeping the café tidy so it always looks its best.

What We Are Looking For

  • Coffee Confidence: You must be confident working on a commercial coffee machine (milk texturing, espresso shots, and speed).
  • Exceptional Communication: Great customer service skills are a must. You should love talking to customers and making them feel welcome.
  • Weekday and Weekend Availability: Available to work short, high-energy weekend shifts (up to 4 to 7 hours max per shift).
  • Reliability & Hustle: Ability to stay calm, focused, and positive during our busiest peak hours.
  • Proximity: Being local to or easily able to commute to Epping Plaza is a big plus.
