An exciting temporary part-time (32 hours per week position exists for an experienced nurse to be appointed as a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 within the Geriatric Rapid Acute Care Evaluation (GRACE) team at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital.

What you'll be doing
This position suits registered nurses who thrive in a dynamic and changing work environment, who have excellent clinical assessment skills, and who can adapt to changing priorities within a working day.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Current Registered Nurse, registered to practice with AHPRA. Hold relevant post graduate qualifications with at least 3 years’ recent experience in the speciality of Aged Care and /or Community Nursing or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and problem solve both independently and as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes through evidence based practice and practice development.
  • Current unencumbered NSW Driver’s Licence.
