Full job description
We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Events Coordinator to manage and coordinate all aspects of weddings, functions, and special events. This role will be responsible for guiding clients through the planning process, coordinating suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring events are delivered seamlessly from booking through to completion.
Experience within the wedding, events, hospitality, or functions industry is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event planning from initial booking through to event completion.
- Coordinate all event details including schedules, suppliers, menus, layouts, and operational requirements.
- Build strong relationships with clients, providing timely communication and support throughout the planning journey.
- Manage wedding and function bookings with a strong understanding of venue spaces, capacities, and event requirements.
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Coordinate with external suppliers, vendors, and event partners.
- Prepare and maintain event documentation including run sheets, contracts, and client details.
- Assist management with planning and delivery of large-scale events.
- Promote the venue and identify opportunities to increase bookings and event revenue.
- Support upselling opportunities by recommending suitable packages, upgrades, and additional services.
- Monitor event budgets, costs, and margins to achieve business targets.
- Develop relationships with wedding platforms, industry contacts, and preferred suppliers.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
About You:
- Previous experience in events, weddings or hospitality.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communication and client management skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach with a passion for creating memorable events.
