Front of House (FOH) Staff – Indian Restaurant

Location: Clyde North, VIC

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Casual

About the Role

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front of House (FOH) Staff to join our team. As the face of our restaurant, you will provide outstanding customer service while ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming and memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
  • Answer customer enquiries and make menu recommendations.
  • Process payments and handle cash and EFTPOS transactions.
  • Set up and clear tables promptly to maintain a clean dining area.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant throughout service.
  • Assist with takeaway, delivery, and catering orders when required.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
