In your role as Allied Health Assistant with the Day Rehabilitation Program, you will work closely within our supportive multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians and Social Workers. You will provide individual and group rehabilitation therapy to a diverse caseload, under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional. You will also provide support to the department in resource creation, and departmental administrative responsibilities.

In your role as Allied Health Assistant, you may be expected to work across sites and participate in weekend work.

Bulli Hospital provides inpatient, outpatient and allied health services, as well as the Urgent Care Centre, for the northern Illawarra. The Urgent Care Centre provides treatment for minor injury and illness. The nurse-led model of care enables patients to be seen and assessed by specialist nurses who, in consultation with medical teams, deliver treatment and management plans for patients.

Situated just a short drive from the stunning Bulli Beach and the scenic Illawarra Escarpment, the hospital not only provides essential health services but also offers a tranquil and beautiful environment for both patients and staff.

  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent work experience and a willingness to work towards certification
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence
  • This is a temporary part time position 16 hours per week until 28 February 2027, with the possibility of extension
