Occupational Therapist Grade 3 - Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team

About the role

The Infant Child and Youth Mental Health Service (ICYMHS) Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team is a multidisciplinary team that provides specialist mental health assessment and consultation to children and young people aged 0-25 years who present with severe mental health concerns, trauma, and/or disabilities, and for whom a neurodevelopmental disorder may also be present. The team works closely with ICYMHS community and specialist teams, as well as other service providers.

This is an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join a supportive and highly skilled team. The team has established structures to support clinician growth and development, including professional, clinical, and discipline-specific supervision, as well as ongoing support for professional development.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Current Occupational Therapy registration with AHPRA.
Minimum two years’ experience.
A strong commitment to high-quality care.
The ability to work as part of a diverse team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
