The Position

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Metro Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for a student studying occupational therapy to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and other Allied Health professionals.

The successful applicant will provide direct administrative support to our consultants to assist in efficient and effective service provision. You will be exposed to varied portfolios such as Workers Compensation and CTP, supporting claimants return to function and return to life.

Day to day you can expect to:

• Work with local and national Occupational Therapists on a varied portfolio.
• Contribute to the writing and production of reports, management of new referrals and assist the team in developing intervention strategies and return to life/function planning.
• Schedule assessments and meetings.
• Source supplier quotes for equipment and services to assist our clients.
• The opportunity to develop and work on a variety of OT specific projects and services.

We are flexible with working hours and we have scope for a casual or part time position, based at our offices in either Alexandria, Parramatta or Macquarie Park (although we will consider other NSW based office locations too).

About You:

• Student studying Occupational Therapy (ideally in your 3rd or 4th year).
• Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude and positive approach.
