Job Description
We offer a unique opportunity for an innovative and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (Allied Health Assistant) to join our compassionate and experienced team. We are a family friendly business and you will be given the opportunity to work locally in your community and collaborate with like-minded allied health, education and medical professionals to provide a holistic service for families.
We have a strong emphasis on empowering our staff to reach their full potential professionally and personally.
Duties include:
- Administering assessments
- Administering therapy sessions with clients and families
- Completing progress notes and reports
- Liaising with other professionals e.g. doctors, teachers, other therapists, work colleagues
- Joint sessions with our other disciplines
- Group sessions (if this is an interest of yours)
- Commitment to personal and professional quality improvement
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
Qualifications
- Currently completing a degree in Occupational Therapy
- Ability to obtain a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
- Driver’s licence
