The Opportunity
Join UniSC International and contribute to the delivery of the University's international strategy through a diverse range of executive, governance and operational support activities.
Working closely with the Director, International, this casual opportunity will provide critical assistance across diary and calendar management, administration coordination, stakeholder communications, and general office support during a period of increased operational activity. As a key point of contact for internal and external enquiries, you will contribute to the efficient functioning of the International portfolio while providing professional, responsive and customer-focused support.
Casual appointment commencing as soon as possible, with the duration and hours subject to operational requirements.
You will
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director, International;
- Coordinate complex diary and calendar management, including meeting scheduling and logistical arrangements;
- Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, responding to phone calls, emails and requests in a professional and timely manner;
- Assist with the preparation of correspondence, documentation, reports and presentations;
- Coordinate meetings, events and stakeholder communications as required;
- Maintain accurate records and administrative systems while ensuring confidentiality and attention to detail; and
- Provide general operational and administrative support to the International team.
About you
You are an experienced administration professional with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are proactive, highly professional and possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You bring sound judgement, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality administrative support. You are comfortable working autonomously while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
You will possess:
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative or executive support within a medium to large organisation;
- Proven experience managing complex calendars, scheduling and administrative coordination activities;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a broad range of stakeholders;
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and administrative systems; and
- A proactive and customer-focused approach, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
