Business Support Officer, Strategy, Innovation and Sustainability

Location: Parramatta

Employment type: Ongoing

Salary: Clerk Grade 5/6, $102,936 pa - $113,579 pa, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

The Business Support Officer, Strategy, Innovation and Sustainability provides administrative, executive and business support to help the team operate effectively. The role works across the team and with colleagues in Infrastructure and Assets to coordinate activities, maintain accurate information and support the delivery of team priorities.

What you’ll do

The role provides day-to-day administrative and business support, including responding to enquiries, maintaining records and databases, coordinating travel and processing routine financial transactions. It helps ensure information is accurate, accessible and managed in line with relevant processes.

The Business Support Officer also coordinates meetings and stakeholder activities, prepares and organises meeting material, and follows up actions. The role supports business improvement projects and looks for practical ways to improve systems, processes and workflows across the team.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an organised, reliable and detail-oriented person who can manage competing priorities and provide accurate, timely support. You will be comfortable coordinating a range of tasks, using business systems and technology, and following through on actions.

You will communicate clearly, build positive working relationships and use sound judgement when responding to enquiries or escalating issues. Initiative, adaptability and a practical approach to continuous improvement will help you succeed in this role.
